Mr. Iman Taufik, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and the founder of PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators, is a well-known and respected figure in the country and was a special envoy to the President of Indonesia in business for ASEAN. Amongst his numerous accolades, Mr Iman Taufik is an active member of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) and was the Chairman of its foreign affairs division.
Mr. Iman Taufik graduated in Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technology Bandung and has more than 35 years experience in the oil & gas engineering and related industries. Pak Taufik, as he is affectionately known and as an eminent citizen, is currently actively engaged in charitable activities and pursuing his love for music in his spare time in addition to providing indispensable leadership to the management team. |

Dr. Samad Solbai

Dr. Samad Solbai's employment career included 13 years in academia (including Dean of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) and more than 15 years in the Oil & Gas Industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Cambridge, a M.Eng.Sc. Materials Engineering from Monash University and B.Eng. from Caulfield Institute of Technology.
Before joining PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators in August 2005, Dr. Samad Solbai held a number of key positions within the oil & gas related companies in Malaysia including Group General Manager and Head of the Engineering and Oil & Gas Division of Sime Darby Berhad and CEO/Managing Director of Sime Sembcorp Engineering Sdn. Bhd (SSE). |
